Híjole Coaster, final boss
Híjole Coaster, final boss
¡hìjole! Likely the most insane coaster brake bike ever conceived. Top to bottom.
Fox 38 170mm. These bikes are designed around a 29 front wheel with 150mm of travel….a 27.5 axle is about 20mm closer to the ground leaving room for a fork like this in all of its orange glory. With a little cush out back…this thing backs up it's “insane” claims…as claimed above in paragraph 1.
Cleanest turbo oddmonē ever…no controls, not never…clamped in our lightweight brazed stem. A two tone turbo/brushed finish has but a few rides from the original owner who was nice enough to add clear frame protection. It's an H4 size… (large for those who find “h” sizing annoying.
Our finned out, souped up Shimano cb_e110 coaster hub paired with an @paulcomponent polished front. These are hand laced with orange zia influenced cross pattern to the good good @dtswiss enduro rims.
I'm sticking to it…this bike is insane….ly fun. If you have ridden a coaster brake on a klunker, than you know…coasters = hilarity. Adding an enduro bike to the mix is manical levels of joy. Mania begets insanity. Anyone who's ridden near me when I'm riding my coaster hìjole knows my unhinged joy, laughter and mania… borderline psychedelic, transcendent headspace when you're counter steering a gently overcooked corner having seconds before already made a full request of the braking system. It's insane. It's gettable with mere legal tender.
